5. Resignation. –(1) A non-official member other than the Chairman of an Advisory Committee may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Chairman. (2) The Chairman of an Advisory Committee may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Central Government. (3) The resignation shall take effect from the date of its acceptance or on the expiry of thirty days from the date of its receipt by the Chairman or, as the case may be, by the Central Government, whichever is earlier.
