64. Power to Order property attached to be sold and proceeds to be paid to person entitled.- Any court executing a decree may Order that any property attached by it and liable to sale, or such portion thereof as may seem necessary to satisfy the decree, shall be sold, and that the proceeds of such sale, or a sufficient portion thereof, shall be paid to the party entitled under the decree to receive the same. MADRAS AND PONDICHERRY.- Insert “After notice to the D.H. and J.D.” after “any Court executing a decree may”. (10.4.1963). ORISSA.- For the word “attached by it” substitute the words “in respect of which it has made an order of attachment whether before or after the decree”. Insert the word “which” between the words “and” and “liable” (7.1.1936).
