18. Documents to accompany the petition.- (1) A petition shall be accompanied by documents as prescribed in Annexure III and shall be accompanied by an Index of Documents.

(2) Documents referred to in sub-regulation (1) may be attested by the party or the authorised representative or the advocate and the documents shall be marked serially as Annexures A-1, A-2. A-3 and so on.

(3) Where the petition is filed by the authorised representative, memorandum of appearance shall be appended to the petition as in Form No. 5 in Annexure II:

Provided that where the petition is filed by an advocate, it shall be accompanied by a duly executed Vakalatnama.
