7. Assistant Collector or Revenue Assistant.- (1) The Chief Commissioner may appoint apply as many other persons as he thinks fit to be Revenue Assistants or Assistant Collectors. (2) All Revenue Assistants or Assistant Collectors and all other Revenue Officers in the (Note: Subs. by A.O. (No.5) 1957 for the words "State") Union territory shall be subordinate to the Deputy Commissioner and shall exercise all the powers and discharge all the duties conferred and imposed upon them by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force, subject to the control of the Deputy Commissioner. |
