2. Definitions. - In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) “Act” means the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 (69 of 1980);

(b) “Committee” means the Committee constituted under section 3;

(c) “Chairman” means the Chairman of the Committee;

(d) “Member” means a member of the Committee;

(e) “Section” means a section of the Act.
