72B. Special provision of contravention of order under section 22.- Whoever continues to work a mine in contravention of any order issued under subsection (1A), sub-section (2) or sub-section(3) of section 22 or under sub-section (2) of section 22 shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall also be liable to fine which may extend to two years and shall also be liable to fine which may extend to five thousand rupees.


Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the country to be recorded in writing in the judgement of the court, such fine shall not be less than two thousand rupees.
