17. Mode of payment. Section 27(2). - All payments except the grants from the fund amounting to: -

(a) Less than Rs. 50 shall be made in cash.

(b) Rs. 50 or more shall be made by cheque issued by the Welfare Commissioner,

provided the Board may in any particular case for special reasons, authorize such payments also in cash.

(2) The salaries of the staff of the Board shall be paid either in cash or by cheque.
