Forfeiture.- Every false or unverified weight or measure (other than those referred to in section 30 of the Standards Act) seized under the provisions of this Act shall be liable to be forfeited to Government: Provided that such unverified weight or measure shall not be forfeited to the Government if the person from whom such weight or measure was seized gets the same verified and stamped within such time as may be prescribed. |
