174. INDICATIONS OF WEIGHT, LENGTH, NAME OF MANUFACTURERS, ETC.-(1) The weight of yarn or thread in each bundle or unit shall ordinarily be indicated thereon in pounds or ounces in the English System or in grammes according to the metric system.
(2) The length of’ thread in each bundle or unit shall be indicated thereon in yards or metres.
(3) The name of the manufacturer or of the wholesale purchaser in India shall be indicated in full or, provided that the said name in clearly and unambiguously indicated thereby, in an abbreviated form, on each bundle or unit.
